"Just by clear serendipity and providence was I introduced to Kevin Murphy. Upon receipt of an unsettling and threatening letter by the Board of Registered Nursing I consulted Kevin Murphy and Associates in November 2013. In my particular case, I made a decision in haste that I regret. Upon answering questions on my renewal license application I had an open court case that involved an arrest, with a pending, but unknown conviction. The question asks: "Have you been arrested since your last renewal?" I answered, "No."
Now, I am not an advocate of lying and I am certainly not making an EXCUSE. I am simply stating the REASON I reacted in a "fear of loss" state of mind. A situation I wish to NEVER be face to face with again. I personally think it is an unfair question by the Board. Perhaps a more fair question: "Have you been convicted...etc."
Kevin explained to me that this type of case doesn't happen all the time, however it can be rectified. What a relief to hear! Hearing Kevin's advice and listening to him evolve a plan instilled a calming certainty that allowed me focus on my God given talent as a nurse. Kevin has resolved my issue with 100% assurance. I could not have pleaded or prayed for a better outcome.
